In India, the no. of diabetic individuals are increasing day by day. The main concerns are # Lack of right informtion #Believing on wrong information/Following traditional methods to control glucose levels. #Rise in complications #Type 1 Diabetes
In St. Lucia one of our greatest concern apart from the growing numbers of diabetics is the amputation rate among diabetics. As a member of the St. Lucia Diabetes and Hypertension Association were are working feverishly in prevention and management.
Our states can't do everything, it is up to the NGOs to fill the vacuum by proposing programs of struggle.
In Brazil the main problem I see is limited access to resources for the adequate treatment of diabetes. Public policies do not yet contemplate all the possibilities of therapies that exist today and the lack of investment in diabetes education mean t

In Greece the main problems are low trained/lacking the right methods patients with type 2 diabetes, increasing number of both type 1 and 2 diabetes, low access to expensive supplies, limited access to medical diabetes specialized centers/hospitals.
